Welcoming Trio FON, Nicky Moore and David Green as our Clark Wang Artists-in-Residence this year!
Trio FON is an ensemble based in Madison, Wisconsin, consisting of Erik Nuenninghoff on violin, Aaron Fried on cello, and James Osorio on piano. The group formed last year and is under the guidance of Parry Karp, renowned cellist of the Pro Arte String Quartet.
All three members of the trio are full-scholarship students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they are pursuing degrees in music performance. The trio has recently appeared outside of the University in various series, such as Grace Presents and Stoughton Opera House’s Music Appreciation.
Prior to the trio forming, its members have performed chamber music in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Juilliard’s Paul Hall, and with ensembles such as The Madison Symphony, The Milwaukee Symphony, and The Joffrey Ballet. Trio FON’s members hail from North Carolina, Wisconsin, and The Philippines.
